Mobile Phone Policy and Warranty


This Policy applies to the purchase of a mobile or cell phone sold by us on our Site (“Phone”) and sets out the warranty, return, and refund terms, practices, and procedures for those Phones.  This policy does not apply to any third-party seller for any purpose.  You agree to these terms by purchasing a mobile phone from us.

The entity you are contracting with is Sir William Jackson Inc., 955 Deep Valley Drive # 4687, Palos Verdes Peninsula, California 90274-9998.  In this User Agreement, this entity is referenced as any of “SirWilliamJackson”, “SWJ”, “we”, or “us”.  A buyer is referenced below as “buyer”, “you”, or “your”.

Express Warranties

The only warranties on a Phone are

  • those given by the manufacturer and
  • those guaranties and warranties specifically set out in this Mobile Phone Policy and Warranty.

We intend to provide you a tracking number for all shipments, which is supplied by the carrier.  In all cases in which time is calculated based on a delivery date, the delivery date is the date on which SWJ records show that the Phone was delivered to the address given by you for the order.  You are responsible for following tracking information to know whether our records show delivery and when that delivery occurred.

Buyer Agreement Disclaimer of Warranties / Limitation of Liabilities

Outside of these specific warranties, the Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations on Liability set out in the Buyer Agreement apply.

5-Day Damaged on Arrival (DOA) Guaranty

SWJ wants you to have total peace of mind knowing that your purchase is risk-free.  If your Phone is damaged or does not work when delivered, you have 2 options:

  • Replacement of the Phone with the same model or one with specifications matching the Phone or better (at SWJ’s option) free of charge (including reimbursement for the return shipping cost), or
  • A full refund.

30-Day Money Back Guaranty

If you are not satisfied with your Phone for any reason within 30 days after delivery, you can return it for a full refund or for credit toward another Phone. Return shipping costs, however, are not covered.

One-Year Defect Replacement Warranty

If any defects in the Phone become apparent within 1 year of delivery of the Phone, SWJ will replace the Phone with the same model or one with specifications matching the Phone or better (at SWJ’s option).  Return shipping costs, however, are not covered.

Customer damage or misuse of the Phone is not covered by this warranty.

Incorrect or Missing Product

The 5-day DOA Guaranty or the 30-day Money Back Guaranty (depending upon when you notify us) applies in case we have shipped an incorrect Phone to you.

If the issue is not the Phone but is an accessory, SWJ will send you the correct accessory as long as the notice is given within 30 days of delivery.

Replacement Outside a 5-Day or 30-Day Time Window

We may consider replacement of a Phone outside the 5‑day or 30‑day windows for the respective guaranties.  You must contact the SWJ Return Center as if you were returning a product within the 5‑day or 30‑day window (See Our Notification and Return Process) to confirm whether we will provide a replacement Phone and the standard of replacement, if any.  We will require photographs of the Phone and accessories showing their condition.  If we provide replacement in this circumstance, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs and shipping costs for the replacement Phone.

In any event, the One-Year Defect Replacement Warranty continues to apply for defects.

Our Notification and Return Process

  1. Contact the SWJ Return Center

You must contact the SWJ Return Center within the time specified for the particular guaranty or warranty (5-day, 30-day, or 1-year) with the specific reason and description of the issue.  The email address for contact is

You must include

  • the reason for return;
  • your original order number;
  • the code indicated on the original outer packaging for the Phone; and
  • in the case of the 5‑day DOA and 30‑day guaranties, whether you want (i) an exchange or (ii) a refund or credit toward another Phone.
  1. Secure an RMA Number

The SWJ Return Center will provide you a Returned Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) Number, as well as the return shipping address.  The RMA Number must be included with the return.  Original Packaging Required for 5-Day and 30-Day Guaranties

You must return the Phone in its original packaging and shipping carton for the 5-day and 30-day guaranties.

We therefore advise you strongly to keep the original packaging for at least the initial 30 days after delivery.

  1. Phone Condition

The Phone must be in unworn condition for acceptance under the 5‑day or 30‑day Guaranties.

  1. Carriers for Return Shipping

All Phones to be returned must be shipped by use of one of our approved carriers.  See Approved Carriers under Return Shipping Policy and Costs.

Our Approved Carriers for shipping, including returns, are

  • United States Postal Service (“USPS”)

Return Shipping Policy and Costs

Unless we provide you a prepaid mailing label, you are responsible for return shipping costs, except that you will be reimbursed up to $40.00 for return shipping costs under the 5-day DOA Guaranty.

If we provide you a prepaid mailing label, you must use the service designated on the label for return shipping.  Otherwise, you are responsible for shipping costs and we will not reimburse you.

If the SWJ Return Center determines that the Phone was not DOA or was the correct Phone when shipped, your return shipping costs will not be reimbursed or will be back-charged to the payment method you provide us if we have provided a pre-paid shipping label.
