African Super Hero Kimpa Vita Dona Beatriz

African Superhero

Prophetess Kimpa Vita Dona Beatriz of Kongo (lived 1682-1706). She is the Kongolese founder of Black Liberation Theology. She led an interpretation of Christian doctrine that her opponents called the Antonian Heresy. Kimpa Vita preached that (1) Kongo was the Holy Land described in the Bible; (2) The Kongolese capital, Mbanza Kongo, is the real site of Bethlehem; and (3) Christ and all the other saints were Black. Kimpa Vita Dona Beatriz, and her infant son, were burned at the stake, by the Capuchin Friars. Rest in Peace, my holy and beloved sister, Kimpa Vita Dona Beatriz. May the Eternal Love & Light of ‘GOD’ Almighty, the creator of all things, be upon you
